Adey.emi, entitled 'Iwe Itan .Oy.o-Ile ati .Oy.o Isisiyi abi Ag.o-d'.Oy.o' (A History of Old and New Oyo), comprises 32 pages, divided into ten short chapters, six of which treat the history of .Oy.o from its origins to 1914. The remaining four chapters examine cultural and political institutions. A content analysis of the text is presented, and its strengths and weaknesses are discussed.
