Abstract: | The hope for employment creation lies in industrialization, and it is possible to industrialize the Cross River State economy of Nigeria through the promotion of small and large-scale industries. The author investigates the superiority of small over large-scale industry promotion in employment generation and concludes that small-scale industries can employ more labour, of the low skill category, given the same size of capital investments used in creating medium and large-scale industries.
