Abstract: | Summary of some of the right-wing Christian groups active in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. In South Africa, they represent a minority, albeit an influential one, amongst others because of the support, whether moral or material, often afforded them by the South African government. In Namibia, the South African government has promoted right-wing religious movements and utilized them in support of oppression. Ref. |
