Abstract: | Annotated translation of the final section of the 1607-1608 report on the Jesuit mission to Sierra Leone by Father Baltasar Barreira. It deals with events relating to King Philip (or Felipe) of Sierra Leone. It terminates with Father Barreira's departure from Sierra Leone in August 1608. His account tells of the extension of Christianity in King Philip's domain, partly by the conversion of relatives, with the king manifesting an appropriate attitude to 'heretics', and also of contacts being made with more distant kingdoms.
