Abstract: | The first part of this paper is a general survey of literature on mainly Ibo religion, starting with a work by P.A. Talbot, published in 1926. In part 2 the author clarifies some statements made by the authors reviewed in the first part. In part 3 he indicates how to improve this kind of research by recommending the semantic approach to the study of traditional religion. Note, ref. |
