Abstract:The in this note presented tables of National Accounts for Basutoland have been compiled from the few published figures which exist, together with a considerable amount of indirect estimation. They are dificient in many respects, both in accuracy and coverage, but it is thought that they depict the main features of the economy and that they may help to establish what further information will be needed to complete a full set of tables. List of Tables: 7(a) Appropriation account of households (Home population); 7(b) Appropriation account of households (Home and absentee populations); 9 Apropriation account of Central Government; 12 Rest of the World account; 13 Combined economic current and capital expenditure (1961/62 only); 17 National Disposable Income per head. +The tables have been adjusted to Fiscal Years (April-March) 1960/61 and 1961/62.
