Abstract:Guinea's economy today is largely dependent on loans from technical and trade agreements with the communist countries. But President Touré has also turned to other quarters for help. He has given the iron ore concession for deposits in the Nimba and Sémandou mountains to a consortium of European banks. There is also signed an agreement between the U.S.A. and Guinea, under which the U.S.A. undertook to advance $1.000.000 worth of technical aid.
