Abstract: | Even in the works of black South African female writers little space is given to the telling of the individual female story. The individual black female story is revealed only within the context of the larger thematic emphasis on racial oppression. This is shown by an analysis of the works of the South African writers: Lauretta Ngcobo, Miriam Tiali and Noni Jabavu. Notes, ref. |
