Abstract: | Higher coeducational education in the Sudan exists in the University of Khartoum, the Khartoum Branch of Cairo University, the Higher Teachers Training Institute, the Khartoum Polytechnic and the High Trade School. Higher institutes which are mainly for women have been excluded from the investigation. The short history of higher education for women is recorded and some of the social problems which coeducational society experiences are highlighted. The information has been collected from the files and records of the various institutions and through a questionnaire distributed to students. Notes, tables. |
