Abstract: | The author describes all kinds of South Africa's propaganda, as various official publications for oversea consumption, lavish advertising campaigns, films, television and radio, official information efforts which are directed at cultivating personal contacts with journalists, tourist propaganda etc. Finally attention is paid to the book 'Great White Hoax' of the Africa Bureau, that examines the truth of S.A.'s propaganda and that has attracted the wrath of South Africa. The 'open' propaganda has recently been changed into more 'hidden' operations. Table with annual budget of S.A. propaganda agencies in the United States. |
