Abstract:Purpose is to recount the chronological pattern of events in the Angolan crisis, drawing from a wide variety of news sources, and on that basis to analyze the nature and impact of external interference, both direct and indirect in the civil war. Such an analysis clarifies the role played by each of the major foreign actors during the short-lived civil war.
