Abstract: | Africa is well endowed with mineral resources, but their uneven distribution must determine the course of future development of individual states, just as it has always influenced their growth in the past. To exploit their resources the African states need technical knowledge, research facilities, capital resources and international co-operation-factors commanded only by big established international corporations. This article discusses the distribution of economic deposits and the history of economic development through minerals and the future useful geological map showing mineral occurrences and a physical rainfall map accompany this article. |
