Abstract: | In view of the considerable legislative and administrative changes affecting the Native Courts already being made and still to be made, a study of the history of the administration of justice to the african population of the Gold Coast may help to illumine the problems of the present. This paper attempts to give a brief account of the period deliminated by the Fante Bond of 1844, and the Native Administration Act 1927. |
