| Abstract: | Teaching to read: vowels first or syllables first? Dialectal differences should not be allowed to complicate text books and primers, short and simply-spelt words of any dialect should have preference over any other. A word of one two-letter and one three-letter syllable is easy to read. Use of minor dialects only in the first years. Only the main languages should be encouraged. |
