Abstract: | In the Portuguese provinces of native status Guinea, Angola and Mozambique a political assimilation is affected to establish a juridical, political, eonomical and social, uniformity. The autonomy means acces of all populations to the exercise of political power. The author considers the 'elites' the smallest or the highest groups who have proved themselves as an assimilator strength as sources of divulgation of cultural-patterns, with social value. Identified as 'elites' are the colonists of 'Portuguese origin, catholic missions, the cooperators (of intermedical class) native chiefs and the ethnic minorities (chinese, Mahometans and Indianis). The assimilator strength of these groups is examined by the author. Tables. |
