Abstract: | The world views of the Ezon people are recreated from the narratives of the Ozidi Saga and this is related to what is known about the Ezon people. The author concentrates on the Ezon conceptions of God and gods, sacrifice, divination, priests, and highlights foreign (i.e. non-Ezon) elements in the world of the Ozidi Saga. In conclusion, there is a brief comparison with the Roman world view in ancient times, which the author feels is a more fruitful approach to understanding the Ezon world view than an approach which uses modern European models.
