Abstract:In 1957 Guinea established the first School of Administration in francophone West Africa, after that some new attempts and re-organizations followed, till in december 1965 the latest re-organization integrated the 'Ecole Superieure d'administration' (GESA) with the 'Institut Polytechnique de Conakry' (IPC). The original study is supplemented with a postscript discussing the changes that have occurred since 1968 as a consequence of a return visit by the author late in 1970.
