Abstract:The economic revolution (1964) itself and all the achievements which have followed from it within a short period could never have happened in Zanzibar without the violent, bloody (though short-lived) political revolution of 12th June 1964. After discussing the reasons for such a revolution is dealt with the Economic Revolution itself.
