Abstract: | Attempt to demonstrate the crucial importance of Kwame Nkrumah's book, 'Consciencism: Philosophy and Ideology for Decolonization and Development with particular reference to the African Revolution' (London, 1964), to an understanding of his mind and politics. The paper is divided into three section. Part 1 provides a brief biographical sketch of Kwame Nkrumah. Part 2 present the canons of 'Consciencism', while part 3 contains an interpretation of the idea presented in Part 2. Notes. |
