Abstract: | The purpose of this study is to suggest the relationships among the present-day Bantu languages of East Africa. From these patterns of relationship certain historical interpretations can be made. If the interpretations are put together with evidence from archaeology, an outline of Bantu expansion into East Africa may be arrived at. The statement covers Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and part of northeast Zambia. Map. |
