Abstract:After a short biography and a description of this character, the author analyses from the 30 poems which constitute 'the third and final edition' of 'Coups de Pilon' what makes the poetry of David Diop one of protest and revolt. He shows the revolutionary and militant Negritude of the poet and how, despite his militancy, he remains a poet of hope. Sections: 1.
