Abstract: | Detailed study of Igbo traditional personal names which reflect the relationship between Divinity and Man. Through Igbo names the nature and attributes of the Supreme Being and his relationship with man can be obtained. These names are discussed under two broad headings: 1) names which define the intrinsic nature and attributes of Divinity; 2) names which define the relationship between Divinity and man.
