Abstract: | The study involves the interpretation of achievement test scores between natural science and social science students of the entry 1978-1979 at Asmara University. Statistical procedure is used to interpret group performance of the ESLCE (Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate Examination) result with that of the achievement of first year at the University. The test scores which are used to describe the group performance are expressed in terms of central tendency performance and variability performance. The computation of the arithmetic mean and the standard deviation are presented as the measures of comparison of group performance. Bibliogr., notes, tab. |
