Abstract: | General review of the wide range of political alternatives which have already been proposed for South Africa. The discussion is structured under three broad headings: 1) Separatism: the division of power, 2) Multi-racialism: the sharing of power, 3) Non-racialism. Also some other alternatives are mentioned. Uner the three broad headings various options are identified. In some cases, a particular option is expressed in more than one model. In short, the consideration of the various constitutional alternatives is arranged according to principles, options and models. Ref. |
