| Abstract: | In African society, sexuality is considered to have a religious or spiritual dimension. This paper examines the issue of sex from the perspective of the three major religions in Nigeria, viz. Traditional Religion, Christianity and Islam. It also looks at the role of religious organizations in sex education, and pays attention to the influence of globalization on Africans' religious thinking about sexuality. It concludes with suggestions on the enhancement of sexual morality by religious organizations. Ref. [ASC Leiden abstract] |
