Abstract: | The Sudanese filmmaker and cameraman Gadalla Gubara lost his sight at the age of 87, but continues to make films through the eyes of his daughter. Despite censorship and lack of financial support, over sixty years, he produced cinema that is independent and unique in this country. The film reveals the character of an extraordinary man who has fought his entire life for the freedom of ideas. Alternating with old footage by himself, Gadallah, one of the founding fathers of African cinema, tells about his struggle, ideals and expectations in the film industry in Sudan.
