| Abstract: | Since the beginning of the 1990s there has been a demand for 'Sharia' in South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria. This book contains 8 essays presented at an international conference on comparative aspects on Sharia in Nigeria hosted by the University of Jos in conjunction with Universität Bayreuth in January 2004.
