Abstract: | This secretly made feature film is the first Egyptian gay film. It tells the story of Rami, a 26-year old homosexual who wants to lead a free life and is sick of eternally having to hide. But in Egypt it is dangerous to be gay, and you also put your family and friends in danger. The State has eyes everywhere. The film's plot revolves around the life of Rami, his life in Cairo, and his experiences with his friends and neighbours. The film was promptly banned in Egypt and other African/Arabic countries.
