| Abstract: | A pamphlet covering three main areas: the broad political and economic background of the current crisis in South Africa, the nature and extent of economic links between South Africa and Australia, and the consequent debate on policy implications arising from these links. Prima facie, it concludes that Australia's response to the issue has been unsophisticated and inadequate. Action, not pious words, is required from the Australian government to show its resolve to see freedom in Namibia and South Africa. |
